Bed bugs are parasitic insects that feed on the blood of animals and humans. Their bite often leaves behind itchy, small, red bumps on the skin. It's important to identify bed bugs as soon as they appear. This gives you the best chance of getting rid of them promptly and cost-effectively. 

Although a bed bug infestation may be more obvious, you may be able to spot single bed bugs with the naked eye. Fully grown, they are about the size of an apple seed and have a brown-orange color.
